Valuing of real estate portfolios and single assets 

What we do

We operate across the whole of Germany, and specialise in the valuation of large-scale portfolios as well as individual properties. We have many years of experience in the valuation of:

  • office properties,
  • retail properties,
  • logistics and industrial properties, 
  • residential properties, 
  • hotels,
  • retirement homes and health care facilities,
  • student living,
  • residential development.

Using techniques including Monte-Carlo simulation, we also carry out sensitivity and risk analyses for complex development projects and portfolio valuations.

Our access to comprehensive and in-depth market and transaction data, for all the regional real estate markets and market sectors throughout Germany, ensures that our appraisals are always based on local market knowledge.

How you benefit

We specialise in the carrying out valuation for:

  • Financing purposes: to Market Value and "German Mortgage Lending Value" (Beleihungswert),   
  • Capital market transactions (IPOs, recapitalisations, bond issues etc.),
  • Acquisition and Disposal Transactions,
  • Balance sheet and reporting purposes in accordance with IFRS and other reporting standards

which can be provided in the form of a short or full valuation report. 

The CBRE network, with valuation teams in over 50 countries around the world, is on hand for the valuation of cross-border real estate portfolios. Where appropriate, these projects can be coordinated by our specialist team in Germany as your single point of contact, enabling us to provide standardised valuation reports to clients with portfolios that extend across several countries. 

Depending on the nature of the instruction and the client's requirements, we compile valuations in accordance with international valuation standards (e.g. RICS, TEGoVa); "German Market Value" appraisals (Verkehrswert in accordance with §194 BauGB); and "German Mortgage Lending Value" appraisals (in accordance with §16PfandGB). Our valuation reports are written in German or English, as determined by the needs of the client.

Our Team

Our highly-qualified and experienced valuation team is equipped with the essential knowledge and skills vital for successfully completing complex, large-scale valuation intructions and meeting challenging, client driven deadlines. We provide the full spectrum of qualified valuation professinales required by the market: Chartered Surveyors, "HypZert" qualified appraisers for "German Mortgage Lending Value" valuations, as well as German publicly-appointed and sworn-in valuers. Experienced valuers, with English as their first language, guaranee the quality of our English-language reports.
