NRW Logistics Market Q4 2024

The industrial and logistics real estate market in North Rhine-Westphalia grew by 6% to 1.4 million sq m in 2024 compared to 2023. At 404,000 sq m, the final quarter of 2024 was the strongest quarter of the year in terms of take-up, although none of the five largest deals were in this period. In the entire second half of the year, there was no deal above the 50,000 sq m mark. For the year as a whole, however, take-up in the segment between 20,000 and 50,000 sq m doubled to 520,000 sq m. Owner-occupiers accounted for 10% – a decline of 18%-points.
