Social engagement is of primary importance to CBRE, and is integral to our corporate culture. We also want to make a contribution in Germany, which is why we offer our employees a variety of ways to get involved.
Since 2016, CBRE Social Days have taken place annually at a number of locations across Germany. This event allows our employees to support charitable projects on paid leave. To make things happen, helping hands can often be much more useful than financial donations, so our employees pitch in energetically wherever their social engagement is needed.
There are many different ways for our employees to contribute at Social Days – they can choose freely between crafting activities, excursions and activities with kids, seniors or disadvantaged people, or take part in environmental activities or projects involving animals. Our focus is primarily on regional projects in which we can concentrate on the support of disadvantaged children and youths, on combating incurable diseases or relieving their effects, and on environmental protection and sustainability projects.
Social Days have a positive impact on society, and also help strengthen team spirit, expand the social skills of our employees and help them to shape the world around them.
CBRE also organizes many other activities to help support social institutions and people in need – fundraisers at Christmas or raffles for good causes, for example. With these wide-ranging activities, we aim to have a positive and sustainable effect on society and remain true to our sense of corporate responsibility.
